Setting up your WifiTastic hotspot is Granny-Simple™!.

Setting up a hotspot takes about 10-15 minutes.
The hotspot consists of a specially configured Linksys wireless router which is about the size of a video cassette box.
You will need to connect your hotspot to a computer to set it up, but once it is set up, you don't need the computer at all. This means you don't have to worry about keeping a computer turned on all the time, and you only need a small ammount of space to run your hotspot.

Connect the Router

1. With the router's power off. Plug the connection marked 'Internet' into your modem.
2. With the computer's power off. Plug the connection marked '1' in to your computer using the wired Ethernet connection provided.

1. Power on the router.
2. When the DMZ light on the router goes out (That's the green light on the front that says 'DMZ below it) then power on the Computer.
3. Type http://192.168.1.1 in your web browser address bar to configure it, and follow the prompts.
