Is there support for v5 routers and later?  I would like to start using this but all of my routers are V5 or newer.

Most likely, unless the router is supported by OpenWRT it will not load or brick the router.

I tried creating a wiki article for wifi tastic but the wiki nazis blocked it and said it's not notable. However, note that FON is all over wiki!

I have ver 8.0 what would happen or if i used it on any other linksys product not supported?

I cannot get back on my router to change anything, the password does not let me in any suggestions. There are some things I would like to be able to check or change.

My remote management is not working even though the box it checked. Is there a specific port you need to access through?
I am also having issues with port forwarding. It's simply not working.
I assume that if we were up upgrade the Firmware to the latest release of WhiteRussian that we would no longer be tracked by Wifitastic. Yet I would REALLY like UPnP support. Is that in the works? The new WhiteRussian firmware has it.

The remote management and firewall rules are working in the latest version. We can install UPnP for you, but do not recommend it for security reasons.

We only support the WRT54GL. You may be able to use the nvram configuaration to use the AP but we do not support that.

I use a linksys wirelss router (radio is turned off) but it is connected to a seperate commercial grade a/p and antenna.

Can I use this setup, is there a better router, and how many uses can the linksys handle?  If there is a better router (don't care about the cost) that can handle more users, let me know.

I have 2 meg up and down, and expect about 20-30 simultaneous users.
